But the wind or rain can’t get to us as we stay safe and warm in our Cabin Fever Cottage, watching the seasons pass and enjoying the gentle times.

Throw Pillow Cover Care Instructions:
Hand Washing (Generally Recommended):
Prepare a Bath: Fill a basin or sink with cool or lukewarm water. Add a mild detergent specifically designed for delicates or handwashing. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
Submerge and Soak: Gently submerge the embroidered fabric in the soapy water. Let it soak for 15-20 minutes to loosen any dirt.
Rinse Thoroughly: Drain the soapy water and refill the basin with clean water. Rinse the fabric repeatedly until all soap residue is gone.
Gentle Drying: Support the fabric while lifting it from the water to avoid stretching or damage. Gently roll it in a clean towel to absorb excess water. Lay it flat on a dry towel or hang it to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight or heat.
Cotton Filled Insert Care Instructions:
Washing:
Machine Washing:. Use a gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water.
Mild Detergent: Choose a mild detergent formulated for delicates. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
Double Rinse: If your machine has an extra rinse cycle, use it to ensure all the detergent is rinsed out. This prevents soap buildup, which can make the pillow feel stiff.
Drying:
Low Heat: Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. High heat can shrink the cotton filling or damage the pillow's fabric.
Fluff it Up: Add a couple of dryer balls to the dryer. They'll help fluff the pillow and prevent the filling from clumping.
Gentle Care: Cotton can be bleached in the sun and natural cotton also benefits from sunlight. Leave the insert pillow under the sun to sanitize and bleach naturally.
